My mom has an old mophead that she makes multicolored by acidifying one
side of the bush and making the other side alkaline. She gets blue on one
side, pink on the other and shades of lavendar in the middle. You'd think
it would be hard on the bush but it doesn't seem to faze it.
I have seen pictures of a hydrangea called "Pia" that had variously
shaded flowers. Anyone grow it?
