Re: bad experience at garden center/ Cajun Joe
I was kidding about the weed Gene, but all of everything else I said about
Home Depot is true = satisfaction guaranteed or your money back is their
policy = anytime within a year after your purchase, as long as you meet
their policy. The policy means what it says and nothing else.
This morning I went to Wallmart to do a little shopping. They had a sign
posted in the garden center that said the same thing as Home Depots
guarantee, except it didn't mention a time period.
Like someone said previously on SG. They make so much money, that the loss
from their return guarantee is minuscule, compared to how much money they
make, by having a guarantee like they have. What it all boils down to is
this Gene = most people don't keep records, so they can't return the plant
if it dies anyway. But then, if you make and expensive purchase, and you
hold on to your receipt, and the plant dies, or you are dissatisfied with
it - you make out like a bandit = and Home Depot says that alright with
them.

Hello Cajun Joe,
I believe you forgot to place the little winkey smiley face at the end
of you
message.... you are kidding about this one. Right? Surely you are not
serious
about taking a plant back simply because you changed your mind? Taking
credit from
them for a weed placed in one of their pots?
Not trying to start anything here... just checking to be sure of what I
read.
