Cimicifuga help

Hi--I have a three year old cimicifuga 'Hillside Black Beauty' that seems to be slowly dying.  Over the last 4-5 weeks, the leaves have curled up and then died.  This happens one stem at a time.  There are no spots, the plants have plenty of water, there is no sign of insect activity.  Any comments would be appreciated.
