Another nursery

As long as we're talking about nurseries--I just had a bad experience with a
small one in Connecticut called the Variegated Foliage Nursery, which has a
mouth-watering selection of plants on its web site. I am reluctant to be
harsh with a small operation but in reading comments about the place (way
too late) I notice that others have had similar problems. The plants are
listed as coming in quart size but I received four corydalis that were tiny
cuttings, three of which were near dead. Those three are now gone, though I
suppose it's possible they are dormant. I cannot find an e-mail address for
the place or I would have complained. The nursery's policy, alas, is to only
guarantee that the plants are true to name, which these probably were.
