Re: Best Yellow Hosta?

Other ideas would be Crown Prince, just bought this. Looks to have a hint of lime color suffused through the
yellow - just kind of a gentle blending, not streaked/variegated. Also just purchased a David Stone - yellow
with a very minimal lime green edge. When young has slightly lance/elongated shaped leaves. The mature plant
we saw had more rounded leaves. Along this line, my sister just bought an August Moon which is doing the same
- slightly lance shaped, where my more mature one is rounded.

As to two of the earlier suggestions - I've seen sources list the size for Golden Sculpture at 36"H x 72"W.
Hostas take 3 to 5 years to reach mature size. Also, my Lemon Lime is kind of a golden color early in the
season but turns to a medium dark lime green. It is a nice, small hosta that right now has lots of scapes.

Just looked again at Crown Prince through the door and it is not a bright gold, such as the very large Sun
Power, but tends slightly to the lime. It's one of those that no two leaves are quite alike in their
coloring/shading.

On the chance a variegated one would work, try Summer Music - white center (about one quarter to one half of
the leaf) with both yellow and some lime variegation on the outer edges.
