You have received many good choices to look at in the yellow-gold group.
My favs are Daybreak and Aspen Gold. Give Daybreak some afternoon sun it
will have an orange glow to it, the Aspen Gold has great Dimples.
There are a lot of new plants that are on the general market now--many that
turn gold/yellow in the summer and some that are yellow in the spring and
turn green in the summer.
If you want very bright yellow spring plants try 'Sea Fire' or 'Choo Choo
Train'.
'Gold Fascination' is green in the spring and turns gold in mid summer then
has a new flush of leaves in late summer that are green so you have a gold
plants with a green center.
If you need plants on the shorter side try Birchwood Parkies Gold- a great
yellow to light gold.
You might want to look at the Hostalibrary.org website under the "G" names to
get an idea of some sizes and shapes that will work for you.
The Gold Hosta range from medium to slow growth rates with some plants
reaching their full size in as little as 5 years while other might take 10
years.
