   I buy a ton of books and cds from Amazon and I always check to see
if they have used ones first. I have well over 2000 books here and
seldom use them much past reference books so can't see spending such a
high price for books I might not look at for months at a time.

Bob, I was very vague when I said George's book.  It was totally my fault.
His book on Shade Perennials is totally awesome.  I went to Amazon and saw that
they have the Hosta book new or used for $102.  That is more than double what
I paid for it.
