I just ripped up a ton of symphytum grandiflrum which was fairly
well-behaved before I put it in a sunnier spot. It went on the compost.
Cystopteris bulbifera gets ripped out on occasion as does Corydalis lutea.
Other ferns receive more considerate treatment. Epimedium x rubrum has been
moved, donated to plant sales, given to friends and neighbors and now may
find itself on the compost. The same applies to Asarum europeum and
Sanguinaria canadensis. Sometimes I don't have the time or inclination to
pot something up and it's just easier to rip it out.
