Is this the one Park Seed is selling? Or, are you selling any of yours at
your nursey, Gail? I have a Joe-Pye weed, not chocolate, and it is a
favorite, though it didn't take long for it to outgrow its allotted space.
I'm not sure it could be called invasive, but it does form an
ever-expanding clump. I particularly like the sparkling look of the
inflorescence.
If anyone can tell me about moving an established Joe-Pye, I would
appreciate it (I am not sure if they resent transplanting). Also, I have a
Butterfly Weed that is huge, about 5 years old, doing well despite a rather
shady location - however, it has to be moved away from the sweet peas (what
discordant colors). I understand moving one is risky, and I could use a
few tips. Thanks.
