Re: [SG] Need suggestions


Contrary to what all the gardening books say, Black-eyed Susans (Rudbeckia
hirta) bloom almost as well in shade as in sun. I have them in various
locations (too many of them, actually), ranging from half sun to full dry
shade. They are not fussy about light, and quite possibly they are not
fussy about moist soil-- you might give them a try.
