Re: [SG] Need suggestions - a clarification

Clyde has graciously pointed out that I need to do some clarification on
this bit of my post. What I was trying to say was that 'The Rocket' is a
cultivar of L. stenocephala and is sometimes listed as a cultivar of L.
pzrewalskii....NOT that L. stenocephala is sometimes listed as L.
pzrewalskii. Sorry for any confusion my lousy syntax has created! L.
stenocephala and L. pzrewalskii are two separate species of Ligularia. My
reference ("Perennials for American Gardens" by Clausen and Ekstrom)
indicates that this cultivar, introduced by Alan Bloom, is possibly a
hybrid between the two species.
