Thanks for the great info on the Rogersia.  It makes perfect sense and upholds
the reasons I always felt mine didn't bloom.  Mine get enough sun, but they do
dry out too much.  I think I have a place I can move them where they will get
the sun and moisture.   It's next to a dry streambed (but the soil stays
moist).  I agree with you that they have to have the moisture, but not bog
conditions.  I tried them in an area that was constantly wet and they were not
happy.  When they are grown well, the foilage will knock your eyes out, let
alone the bloom!
