Hi Bobbi,
Deer are not supposed to like anything with fuzz on the leaves. They
don't like the feel of it on their tongues. I may be all wrong about
this, it's just something I have heard. I have a problem with deer in
one of my gardens but they don't eat my lilacs, daisies, bee balm or
astilbe.
