Well, not to belabor the point about these invasive plants, but I do
live in a place where there is no rain for around 6 months of the year.
I currently have my few plants in places which would be acceptable for
them to spread a good bit.  But if they suddenly began to appear in
monstrous clumps (which is the way some on this list seem to be
describing them) couldnt I control them by merely withholding water? I
don't know of any non-native plants which seem able to survive being
bone dry for that long.
