Re: bleeding heart (dicentra) problem

Haven't checked this list in a while as I had been very busy. My common bleeding heart (D. spectabilis) definitely seeds itself. I have a number of them in different flower beds and I know for sure that I did not plant most of them.

I have 2 eximia. I divided one a few years back which was a piece from my neighbours. They are still going strong and hope to divide one again in the fall.

Well, pooh. Marge, are you telling me that Dicentra seeds around too? I
have several old spectabilis clumps in the yard, and though they bloom
heavily each year, I've never seen them set seed.
