Hello Bobbi,
I believe the Hemlock you are referring to is "Gentish White". About 8 feet
tall now after 10 or 11 years. Nice foliage and the tips new growth turn white.
Kind of like a light dusting of snow over the tree in summer.
Growing in very dry, well drained, shaded site....
