Marge,
I'm with you. In our area we always get feast or famine in the way of water.
Any cool, moist weather in June is to be treasured because in July and
August we will probably go 6 weeks without and have high temps to boot.
Granted, it has been hard because the weeds have taken over big time, but we
need the ground water level to be good so the trees will survive. I also
hate lugging hoses, as Marge mentioned. However, as I write this, we have
had four days of sun and warmer temps and it has been wonderful.
My brother lives in Washington and I was talking to him on the phone telling
him about the close to two inches we had received, he was astounded. The get
rain almost daily, but never in large amounts. This surprised me.
