Dear All,
I don't know if anyone remembers this from last year, but a lot of people had
problems with Jack in the Pulpits (Arisaema triphyllum) and a rust that was
determined to be an anthracnose, I think. The advice was to cut off all of
the Jacks at the base to get rid of it. I have a lot of Jacks (they are
invasive to me), and most of them had this, so I did cut off all. Funny
thing about this, this year the Jacks are okay, but the Green Dragons
(Arisaema Dracontium) all have this rust. Anyone else seeing this? So this
year I am cutting these back. While on the topic...anyone else having the
worst pulmonaria year ever? Mine are so disgusting with mildew and plants
leaves totally eaten. They are being cut to the ground, also. Sounds like
most of my garden is being cut to the ground, doesn't it?
As a P.S.
Does anyone know if Roundup will kill crownvetch?
