Kay,
It really is hard to get rid of crownvetch. I've done it with Roundup,
but:
1. I got the concentrate and then mixed up the strongest dose (the label
has several doses for different kinds of plants; the premixed seems kind
of weak to me for the very invasive plant types)
2. and I had to do it several times over the course of a summer, whenever
new growth would show. Inspect again in spring to be sure you've got it
all.
I don't envy you the job, but at least you don't have to try and spare
good plants and get the crownvetch, like I did...
