Thank you Claire - that is really nice done of you. Regarding become a
member of Alpine list ... sure I should think about it because I am in the
beginning of a large project in a more or less vertical rock wall near my
house - about 50 meters long and in the middle about 7 meter high - and
full of pockets possible to plant in .. and full of natural mosses :) - it
is really an challenge this rock wall project, and I am so far most
planning and looking for ideas etc.
It is facing east so shade plants like Hosta will do fine .. but only in
those parts that will get water when I irrigate the area above. I have
started to plant a few Hosta here - but it is a heavy job to get rid of
trees and perennials I do not wish to have there. Then more shadeplants
both perennials and shrubs will grow there. Since it is hobby I have to
take time to fullfill it.
But in the more drier part of this rock wall I have been thinking of more
alpine or rock plants .. so perhaps I will become a member there too later.
A Norwegian man I talked to a year ago or so told me I had to be invited -
can't remember his name right now.
Yes - it will be fine to have the registration information - but if I join
I must be a lurker for a long time because I feel know very little about
rock plants .. or alpine plants. Sure my rockwall plans will ask me to
learn more :)
