With all this talk about kalmia latifolia, when I was at Home Depot
yesterday and saw 2' high bushy ones for $17 - I couldn't resist.  I do have
a couple of questions though:

Do deer like them?

How far apart should they be spaced?  How much growth can I expect in the
average year?
