If you plant it on a small tree, 25 or 30 foot, then yes it could be a
problem. However, a towering old oak, maple, sycamore, etc. you wont
have any trouble.
Yes, birds will eat the fruit. So will squirrels and chipmunks.
Dont trim it in the fall, wait till spring after it breaks dormancy and
see how much if any needs to be trimmed.
Hey, by the way do you know anything about Magnolia "Edith Bogue"?
I need all the facts, Im clueless.
