Thank you for this, Bobbi. Have you tried going out with a flashlight and
spraying ammonia/water on the slugs? Two or three nights in succession
seems to drastically reduce the population. The mix I prefer is 50%
ammonia, 50% water (it's easier on the plant environment than salt is).
