[SG] Cimicifugas

I appreciate all the light that has been shed on this genus. However,
Sheila's original question remains unanswered. Does C. ramosa, if there is
such a plant, require moist/poorly drained soil? And then there was my
question--is my 10" high ramosa (if that is what it is) doing OK for this
time of year? Should I be concerned? Should I move it?

Incidentally, are all of these Cimicifugas native to the USA, or are some
of them from other parts of the globe? If the latter, it would be helpful
for those of us who are growing them to know precisely what kind of
conditions they occur in naturally.

And while I'm at it, where are you-all getting these exotic cultivars, and
what do they cost?
