Marion:
Everyone has a right to their own opinion and beliefs and I am
sincere in saying that. However, I have a problem understanding your
attitude about killing rabbits/and or other animals. God put these
animals on earth as food source for all of us, including dogs.
It would be interesting to know if you eat pork, beef, (especially
veal, poor baby cow), mutton (especially lamb), squirrel, duck, goose,
venison (poor Bambi) turkey (at Thanksgiving time, yes, even domestic
rabbit?? How about cabbage, broccoli, asparagus etc. All these are
living things.
I've bred and exhibited dogs since 1954 so I'm fairly well acquainted
with dog behavior. I've had Dalmatians and Pointers, among other
breeds, and have had the larger breeds that would kill an animal in a
heartbeat but would love and protect a child! I've had some dogs that
would threaten or even bite an adult, but they didn't live very long
after they acted in that manner. They were taken to the Vet
immediately and euthanized. No cruelty here, just good common sense.
I do not want to cause a flame, just my opinion. (And I am entitled).
