Now speaking of animals, today I saw a cicada sitting on H. Shade Master.
It didn't seem to be doing a thing but relaxing. Is it planning something?
I have no idea what cicadas eat, and have never heard it described as a
Hosta pest. There is an ash tree close by, a netted chain fern, ivy, and
Polygonatum; also wild geranium.
