Re: [SG] Amaryllis was: good doggie


Actually, Diana, they will survive in the ground in the colder portion of
USDA zone 8.  My mom, who lives in northern Alabama, grows them.  She
mulches well, but they come back for her every year - been doing it for the
nearly 30 years they've lived there.  But, they will not survive outside in
zone 7!
