Not a problem at all Rosemary!
Actually you may pot it up any time, dig a big enough clump with soil
attached and keep it in a container. Make sure that the container is watered
dayly and kept in shade.
About the type of container, if it is going to be part of yr garden a
terracotta pot would be beautifull, or plastic will just do fine.
On the other hand if you will be moving in the fall, dig the clum and
transplant it then straight to a desirable location in yr new garden.
