Check out some of the woodland anenomes. Begonia grandis. (I take it you want
color rather than simply flowers?) What about the variegated kerria and
caladiums and , for part shade, the Japanese waxbells--kirengoshoma sp.;and
the vining hydrangea.
IMO, nothing is better than the plain, ol' impatienses for color. Also, for
color--- fallopia.The blue flowering lobelia. Lysimachia punctata
'Alexander'. AND for a sensation==Acanthuses!!
