In respect of the acanthuses not blooming, I wrote to Tony and here is his
reply:
Clyde:
We have no problem flowering A. hungaricus and A. spinosus. A.
mollis is
a rare flowerer here. I recommend the hybrid between A. mollis and A.
spinosus called A. 'Summer Beauty'. We are out right now, but it has the
size, etc of A. mollis, but is a heavy flowerer. I hope this helps.
