Peggy,
This is exactly what I do. I can not keep up drawings and they change so
often. Heck, I can't even find them when I need to change them - talk
about organization:-) But, I bury a label in front of each plant and,
then, when I am trying to remember who some new guy is, I can pull it and
refresh my memory and re-bury it. It takes me at least two seasons to get
to know a plant and recognize it and remember its name. The only downside
of burying labels is with plants who quickly form large clumps and engulf
them before I realize it and remember to relocate the label!
