I'm not sure how much sun it gets. I've seen it planted primarily in
small front yard beds, e.g. around mailboxes (not at all to your
liking, Clyde <g>). I've seen it in full sun, and dappled shade.
Tonight I saw it again in an obviously full sun bed where it is
thriving. Looking at it a little more closely, it appears that the
pink is subtly darker at the edges of the bloom and lighter toward the
center. I wish I had a scanner. I'd send it to you. One other
thing, it seems to lean en masse toward the sun.
Thanks,

Might this be a species or variety of Oenothera---maybe caespitosa?
How much
sun does it get?
