Nancy, we have good luck with hosta "Little Aurora". It grows about 18-24"
wide, and keeps it bright gold color all summer in dappled shade. It grows
fast, and is inexpensive in the trade. (We sell it for $6.00). Gold Drop and
Gold Edger are two other small hostas that are inexpensive and fast growing.
Golden Prayers is a medium sized hosta with an upright growing form, heavy
texture, and white flowers. Golden Sculpture is a large hosta; vase shaped
form and rounded, gold foliage. All these are readily available from hosta
sources and grow well for us. If you have trouble finding them locally, we can
ship them to you.
