Bobbi,
I also have Blackie and two types of variegated Sweet Potato Vines. As this
plant is new to me, I asked the nursery where I bought them, if they wanted
shade or sun. I was advised to place them in shade. Once home, I couldn't
help but think on this, and I decided a potato vine would want sun. I have
the three in full sun and they are growing beautifully. They appear to be a
hanging plant.
