Yes, but the tubers of sweet potatoes don't keep as well as many other
bulbs. They're more like dahlia roots, so I would keep them in a
not-so-dry place, or perhaps in boxes of slightly damp peat moss. If the
plant is in a container, just leave it to dry out and dig the tuber out
next spring.
