As I'd mentioned last week...thanks to all the good info on P. David
Ward and it's extra need for moisture, I amended the soil in the area
of my plant with moisture polymers. The leaves flattened out nicely.
Now I'm wondering what will happen in the winter with the roots and
the polymers - will they work like ice cubes and freeze and
damage/kill the roots? Anyone on the list ever use polymers in the
ground? Through a zone 6 or colder winter?
