If you don't have to move them, there are various types of pipe that
look good. The reason you can't move them once you plant them is that
of course they have no bottoms. I have some square tan coloured ones
which I use on end for planting in, and on their sides for chairside
tables on a patio.  I think they are flue liners.  You buy them at a
building supply yard.
