Dear Marge,
A friend of mine from the Hardy Plant Society has been to Blue Meadow Farm,
which is near Deerfield, MA and tells me they have wonderful annuals and
tenders. They also have perennials and some woodies. She has been there and
made her purchases in person. They now have a mail order catalog, and based
on her recommendation, I have placed an order (not received yet, of
course). Not everything in the catalog is available by mail. Prices and pot
sizes seem reasonable. They are open only from April 15 to July 30.
Catalog is $3.Address is 184 Meadow Road, Montague Center MA 01351. Phone
413-367-2394, fax 413-367-0116. No email or web site mentioned in the
catalog. Will let you know what the verdict is when I get my order.
