impatiens question

My grown-from-seed impatiens are fairly tall now, about four inches high,
bushy -- I can't put them out yet (zone 6, duh), but I'd like to take them
out from under the grow lights. I had them in a sunny window (6h/day), but
they became wilty and unhappy. Now I'm wondering whether they would do okay
in a West window, seeing that they are shade plants? I'd appreciate any
pointers -- thanks!
