Hi Dan:
Why do you want to divide your hostas? A full-grown hosta plant is quite
beautiful, no matter what the variety.
If you want to divide you can do it now or at any time when the weather is
nice.
Since this is fairly early you might want to use one of the various methods
for increasing the # of divisions.
