Nope, Nancy..don't think they eat slugs - more's the pity. Now, box
turtles eat slugs, so if you can get one to visit your garden, it
will help keep down the slug population:-) Your neighbor's cat must
be one of the territorial kind. A really territorial cat will take
on just about anything...once:-)
