Sometimes a community will sell compost bins at cost to reduce the
amount of garden waste being put into garbage cans.
The last time it was done here, I noticed a very long queue in the
shopping centre parking lot. They were buying large plastic
containers, but I don't know what kind.
I have several big piles that would never fit in a bin, and I take
many pickup loads of branches to the municipal yard (we're allowed to
dump one load per day), so I can't give any advice on bins.
