Where are the Shade Garden messages?...

Hello Claire,
Suppose too busy experiencing the garden to write about it..... in
between rain storms they are a poppin'. Nicest appearance to date on the
trout lilies. Both white and yellow.. Erythronium albidum and americanum.
Patch has been there long enough now to really make a nice show. Has
trillium chloropetalum from the west coast coming up through all the mottled
foliage. Next to those are Mitchella repens, or partridge berry with double
bloodroot getting read to break through the ground cover.
Little dwarf snow trillium, T. nivale, is certainly looking pristine
this late winter-early spring.... all the European wood anemone are getting
ready to come into bloom... so many little green noses all over the garden
now from the "warm" rains. Jeffersonia dubia and diphylla......
