Thanks for the response, I will dig them up this weekend, however I
distinctly remember planting them rather shallow. Crown just below the
surface.So I wonder if the depth is really the issue. I purchased them
from Jackson & Perkins as I recall (no intention of slamming them but
meant to indicate that it was from a respectable source).
