Sandy, Thanks for this succinct and well-written set of suggestions.
Thinking of plants as a color palette for shade is not something I had given
much thought although in some ways I do for my sun areas. Perhaps it was the
work tapestry that helped spur the thought, usually I think in terms of
"combinations" which is a whole different way of thinking.
