[SHADEGARDENS] Varieties of Hedera helix

I attended our (Indianapolis) Flower Show this past week and purchased a
number of variegated varieties of Hedera helix.The seller seemed to be quite
knowledgeable and told me the ones that would be hardy in Z 5.

Are these candidates for the shade garden? How much light do they require? Do
they prefer acid soil?
