It occured to me that since I asked the question, I hadn't listed what's
blooming here. Snowdrops and Iris reticulata got zapped by yesterday's
eight inches of white fluff, but the daffodils (drooping) are still
hanging in there. Forsythia and vinca, too. Some bareroot Epimedium
youngnaium 'roseum' I planted last fall are showing not signs of growth
at all. Are they ...dead?
I would just like to add that this robin has been a really great learning
tool for me in the very short time aI have been a part of it. Another
robin I had joined made me feel a little silly asking questions that
either recieved no reply or some even took time to tell me I was wasting
their time with novice questions! Here,in this 'kinder/gentler' robin, I
have yet to ask a question that went unanswered and enjoy reading the
interesting posts and questions from others. My quest this year for a
"collector's garden" will certainly benefit form all your generosity.
