Sandy the Bletilla are delightful.  There is only one problem that I know
about.  The flower is in the very tip of the plant as it comes up in the
spring.  The cold will kill the flower  unless it is protected.  Do not
protect with mulch.  They like to breath.  I grow several shades of them.  One
has a white edge on the leaf.  Its flower is  all white.  Others are more than
one color.
