Hi Sherryl, Are you a member of AHS?
Short...........well OK. I've been shade gardening since we purchased our
present home in 1986. Lost a few trees since and now have a sunny front
yard, DARN!
Hostas are number one. I have over 3-hundred varieties and have been
growing vari. seedlings for 4 years. I have many beds including a mini
bed, and a moon garden, (all hostas have moon in their name). I garden
over nearly an acre, and am interested in all plant material really. I
have two dwarf conifer gardens, one sun and one shade, a sun perennial
garden, a shrub garden and am constantly doing something different. I have
been taking hort classes for a number of years and hope someday to get a
degree. No hurry, my husband and I are self employed. We have a plumbing
business and a laundromat.
By the way, I tried for 3 years to get Sweet Std. seeds to germinate, would
not, and this year have 5 vari. seedlings from it.
It is time to go home so will e-mail tomorrow. Thanks for the welcome.
