It lived through the winter in Indianapolis! Last year I bought the subject plant from Plant Delight (Tony Avent) in Raleigh NC. It is not hardy here in zone 5. However, I wanted to experiment. I planted it near the house and when it went into dormancy I covered it with shredded oak leaves. I realize the winter was "mild";but, we DID have sustained temps here in Indy in the teens and low 20's. Clyde Crockett z5
